March Newsletter
One month down, a lifetime to go.
Dear friends and family,
We are so grateful for your continued prayers and support as we begin this new season in Japan. It has already been full of growth, challenges, and so many reminders of God’s faithfulness!
APIC ConferenceWe truly hit the ground running as soon as we arrived, starting with the APIC Conference. This is a special time where people serving in international churches come together to fellowship, learn, and grow in their ministries. It was an encouraging way to begin our time here, connecting with others who share the same heart for ministry around the world. |
Miracle Story
Apartment Hunting
Finding a home in Japan was not easy. As foreigners, we quickly learned how challenging the housing process can be. We experienced this firsthand, but God answered our prayers in such a powerful way. He provided us with a home that was more than we could have asked for, and we are so thankful for His provision.
Fun Things Ahead!

Language & Adjusting to a New CountryLearning the language has actually come a bit easier than we expected! Praise God for that! We are now able to have simple conversations at the grocery store, order coffee, speak with train station workers, and order food at restaurants. These may seem like small things, but they are big wins for us, and we’re celebrating each step along the way! | Looking Ahead to Easter at ICAICA has seen record attendance during past holidays, and we are expecting the same this Easter. There will be three services, along with a party after the second service. Please join us in praying that hearts will be open and that many people will come to know God during this special time. |
A Fun Highlight
Willow’s Birthday!
We also had the joy of celebrating our first kid’s birthday here in Japan! It was such a sweet and memorable moment for our family.

A Final Note
Prayer Request
We would love for you to be praying with us for:
The launch of ICA’s college ministry, that students would be open to the Gospel
Wisdom and guidance for our leaders
A visiting church team coming on a mission trip
The upcoming Easter services
That God would lead us to the people He wants us to intentionally disciple
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. ” - 2 Peter 3:9 NIV
Thank you again for walking alongside us in this journey. Your prayers, encouragement, and support mean so much to our family. We are excited to see all that God will continue to do here in Japan!
With love and gratitude,
